因受疫情影響，美國國稅局官方於2020年3月21日宣布，2019年的聯邦所得稅稅表的提交及付款截止日期均自動從2020年4月15日延長至2020年7月15日，納稅人無須另行申請，且延期中間不會有利息和罰款。
美國註冊會計師羅霞仍鼓勵納稅人儘早申報，以退回多繳的稅款。

The Federal Income Tax Filing and Federal Income Tax Payments Due Date Are Extended to July 15
The Internal Revenue Service announced on 21st March that the federal income tax filing due date and federal income tax payments due date are automatically extended from April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020 without penalties and interest.
Taxpayers do not need to file any additional forms or call the IRS to qualify for this automatic federal tax filing and payment relief. However, IRS still encourages people to file the tax return as soon as possible for returning the tax refund earlier.
