美國國稅局IRS宣布2024 年美國報稅季正式開始，
美國國稅局IRS將於2024 年 1 月 29 日開始接受和處理 2023 年度稅表。
儘管美國國稅局IRS要到 1 月 29 日才會正式開始接受和處理2023 年度稅表，
但仍建議納稅人盡早準備報稅所需要的資料，
包括全球收入、海外金融帳戶 (FBAR、FATCA申報)等。
美國註冊會計師 羅霞 提醒您，提交個人聯邦稅表、繳納任何欠稅或請求稅表延期的截止日期，
都是 2024 年 4 月 15 日。您可以申請延期報稅，但如果您需要繳稅，仍然需要在報稅截止日前完成繳款，以免有利息及罰款的產生。

2024 US Tax Filing Season Begins on January 29!
The IRS announced the official start date of the 2024 tax filing season. The IRS will begin accepting and processing 2023 tax returns on January 29, 2024.
Although the IRS hasn’t start accepting and processing tax returns until January 29, 2024, the IRS still advised taxpayers to prepare tax documents in advance, including worldwide income, foreign financial account report (for FBAR and FATCA), etc.
USCPA Luo Xia reminds you that April 15, 2024 is the deadline for tax filing, paying taxes and applying for extension. You can apply for an extension of filing your 2023 tax return. However, if you need to pay 2023 taxes, you still need to complete the payment before the deadline to avoid interest and penalties.
