What Should I do If I Didn’t Receive Economic Impact Payments?
In 2020, taxpayers who received economic impact payment also received the notice 1444 from IRS. You can go to IRS website: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment to check the status that IRS sent your payment(s).
But If you didn’t receive the payment or notice, don’t worry. IRS said that If taxpayers didn’t get any payments or got less than the full amounts, you may be able to claim the recovery rebate credit as economic impact payments on your 2020 Form 1040 or 1040-SR when you file your federal income tax return in 2021
