The 2022 Deadline for Filing Your 2021 U.S. Tax Return and FBAR
If you submitted the Form 4868 to the IRS before April 15th, 2022, it will give you a six-month extension of the deadline from April 15th to October 17th to file your tax return.
If you need to file the FBAR, you should also submit it before October 15th, 2022.
